BUILDING SAFETY ACT COMPLIANCE

Build the Gateway 3 evidence while you build the building

Capture inspections, quality evidence, issues and approvals against the work as it happens - creating a structured, traceable construction record throughout delivery.

When it’s time to demonstrate compliance, the evidence is already there.

Compliant work still needs demonstrable evidence

Gateway 3 requires more than confidence that work was completed correctly. You need a reliable record of what was built, what was inspected, what evidence was captured and who approved it.
Sablono helps create that record as part of everyday project delivery - rather than trying to reconstruct it at the end.
WHAT YOU GET

Build a stronger construction record from day one

Bring quality requirements, inspections, evidence, issue resolution and approvals into one connected delivery process.
STANDARDISED QUALITY

Turn quality requirements into repeatable site processes

Define the inspections, checks, responsibilities and approvals required for the work. Apply the same quality process consistently across units, levels, trades and work packages.

INSPECTIONS & EVIDENCE

Capture the evidence before the work is concealed

For critical work such as firestopping, penetrations, cavity barriers and waterproofing, the opportunity to inspect may disappear as soon as the next trade starts.
Build inspections and required evidence into the workflow so checks happen at the right point - before work moves on.

Make compliance demonstrable

Capture inspections, evidence, approvals and accountability as work happens — creating the records you need to demonstrate compliant delivery.
ISSUES & DEFECTS

Every issue has an owner and a resolution

Raise issues directly against the work, assign them to the responsible team and keep the evidence of how they were resolved.
Require review and sign-off before an issue is closed, creating a traceable record from identification to resolution.

AUDIT TRAIL & HANDOVER

Know what happened, where, when and by whom

Inspections, evidence, issues and approvals remain connected to the work they relate to - creating a traceable construction record throughout delivery.
See what is complete, identify missing records and retrieve the evidence you need without searching through disconnected folders, spreadsheets and inboxes.

FAQs

How does Sablono help with Gateway 3? It produces the construction evidence the completion certificate application depends on, while the work is happening. Approved requirements and hold points are attached to the workflow, inspections and photographs are captured against the unit, deviations are raised and signed off, and the whole record exports as a structured pack per unit, level or building.
Is this a separate Building Safety Act module? No, and that is the point. It is Sablono's active quality sequence — workflow templates, QA checklists, photo documentation, issue management, sign-off and the audit trail — configured against your approved details. Your teams run the same system they use for progress and handover.
What does Sablono not cover? As-built drawings, design documents and testing and commissioning certificates come from your design and services teams. Sablono covers the construction record: what was inspected, by whom, when, what it looked like, and who approved it.
We are already mid-build. Is it too late? Not too late, but it changes what is possible — work already concealed cannot be evidenced retrospectively without opening up. Teams typically bring Sablono in on the remaining packages, gate the concealed work from that point, and use the readiness view to scope what has to be resolved another way.
Does it work across a portfolio? Workflow templates are reusable, so the standard you agree once applies to every block and every scheme. That is also what makes recurring-failure reporting by trade or activity possible across the portfolio.
