“Using Sablono removes the need to make and send out weekly excel trackers to show site progress. This saves me a lot of time so I can give more attention to my other responsibilities.
Sablono helps to visualise site progress especially to those working from home. During covid, Sablono helped me to easily communicate with the project team at home to explain what was happening on site.
Connecting sub-contractors payment to Sablono is an extremely helpful incentive to push sub-contractors to use Sablono and update completed activities as accurately as they can. I think it is important that the sub-contractor first agrees the payment for each activity so that there is a mutual understanding beforehand.
I am currently learning how to produce short-range programmes with Sablono which will save me a lot of time because the programme will be dependent on the sub-contractors updating their activities. My only task then would be to oversee how works are tracking against the programme, instead of manually drawing a dropline against each task by hand.”
