Integrate Sablono seamlessly into your personal workflow

Sablono 2.11 was released yesterday and it offers a bunch of new features to its users. This blog post will tell you everything you need to know about integrating Sablono seamlessly into your personal workflow.

Since more than a year ago, Sablono offers the possibility to import your schedule from Microsoft Project. After importing you can easily plan your project in even more detail using Process Templates, before taking the Sablono Inspect App to site, to document the progress of your project.

If you use other scheduling tools to plan your project, you will enjoy this: From now on you can also to import your program from Asta Powerproject or Oracle Primavera and it is just as easily done as the import of a Microsoft Project schedule.

Your project will be set up automatically on the Sablono platform which gives you more time to focus on the important things: Creating and assigning your own detailed Process Templates, before going to site to document the progress of your project in real-time. It never has been easier to keep track of even complex construction projects.

But Version 2.11 does not only offer new features to users of Asta Powerproject or Oracle Primavera. You can now very easily export the progress of your project from the platform. This enables you to use it in your original scheduling tool, to further visualize and analyse your projects status. Therefore, Sablono can be integrated into your personal workflow seamlessly!

For example: You set up the schedule of your construction project using Asta Powerproject. To control your project with Sablono, please export your program from Asta Powerproject using the XML-file format.

Afterwards you can import this file to the platform. Sablono subdivides data into: Project Structure, Project Deliverables, Activities. Based on the initially imported schedule, the project structure and project deliverables are automatically set up: summary tasks become project structure & tasks become deliverables.

Activities to tick off will be defined in the Sablono platform using Process Templates. While your project develops you and your partners will collect data using the Sablono Inspect App.

This data will be visualized on the platform, e.g. in the Gantt chart. If you want to use it in Asta Powerproject though, you can easily export it from Sablono as a CSV-file and use the Sablono Macro to merge the data into your Asta schedule.
